WHAT INSPIRES ME?

My daily inspiration source is my family and my friends. Also, through traveling, nature, art, great movies, and architecture I get inspired. Some cities and their atmosphere are so inspiring, like Marrakech, Barcelona, and Havana. Often exceptionally interesting people inspire me. I love imperfection, simplicity and small details. I am constantly overwhelmed by the fact that everything in nature is designed by the Golden Ratio and how this is connected to the Fibonacci Series (who knew, math is still useful for anything in life).

My favorite artists/architects are Antoni Gaudí, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, and Alphonse Mucha. In addition to that, I really like the line drawings by Henri Matisse. And, don’t forget Frida Kahlo, not only for her art but for her style and coolness. Some very talented illustrators who inspire me are René Gruau, David Downton, and Jason Brooks. I also think fashion is art so I love designers like Christian Dior, John Galliano, Oscar de la Renta, Ulyana Sergeenko and style icons like the character Carrie Bradshaw.
